Rangpur Riders have started their practice for the 5th edition of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). At BCB Academy Stadium, they have started their training sessions on Wednesday.

Coach Tom Moody has already joined with the team. He thinks the team is well balanced and also informed that they will be eying the top 4.

He said: “We have built up a very balanced team. We have local players as well as foreign players. Our main target is now to play in top 4.

Team’s cheif executive Ishtiak Sadek also informed the same thing: “Our team is well balanced. Now aim is to play in top 4.

Though the practice session started today, many cricketers are yet to join the team including their icon player Mashrafe Bin Mortaza. After getting some good local players, Rangpur Riders have also captured star players like Chris Gayle and Brendon McCullum for this season.

BPL will kick off on 4th November with Sylhet Sixers taking on the defending champions Dhaka Dynamites at the Sylhet International Stadium.
